Since 2019, Bay Made Fastpitch has been the sole provider of in-person coverage of high school softball in Tampa Bay. Our mission is to provide fair, equal coverage to all of the girls participating in fastpitch softball, whether their goal is to play in the Women's College World Series or to have the game as a valuable extracurricular for their college applications.

Our coverage area stretches over 125 miles long and 80 miles wide, encompassing the traditional seven counties of the Tampa Bay metroplex: Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota. We provide coverage to over 110 schools every spring.

Site owner and publisher Will Turner started the site with the vision to fill a gap in local coverage and to give a voice to tremendous student-athletes across the area. Since the site's inception, Turner has covered nearly 300 softball games, countless tournaments, five FHSAA State Championship series, a Team USA exhibition match and has professionally shot photos for Oklahoma State and Northwestern's softball programs. When he's not on the diamond, Turner works for the University of South Florida's NIL Collective, the Fowler Avenue Collective.

In 2022, the Bay Made Fastpitch Elite Invitational was born - a three-day Spring Break tournament that highlights the best softball that the Tampa Bay area has to offer. Our goal of the Invitational is to provide a tournament reminiscent to that of the Saladino Tournament that's been a staple in Hillsborough County.

Thank you for checking us out. Without your support, we would not be able to provide the vital service of making sure these girls’ stories are told every spring.
